What We Do
EdUCate! is a nonprofit foundation established in 1993 to provide supplemental funds for all five of the University City Public Schools:
- Curie Elementary
- Doyle Elementary
- Spreckels Elementary
- Standley Middle
- University City High

Our mission is to support the whole child, academically, socially, and emotionally.
Accomplishments
For more than 25 years, EdUCate! has distributed over $2,000,000 to the five University City public schools. The money has been raised primarily through the many events and programs EdUCate! offers.
How We Help
Funds that have not been restricted to a specific program or school are distributed in the following manner: we allocate 33% of available funds to the EdUCate! Math Academy (a cluster-wide project) and Jr. Achievement’s BizTown for all three elementary schools, 33% to a simplified teacher grant process (held twice annually) and 33% to the principals of the five schools for which we raise funds.
